It will lower your quad, add wheel travel, and give you a softer ride. You will need to notch the front link to give clearance fore the lower spring retainer. This link is designed for a stock length shock. A much better setup is to use the 08-003 link however it is for a shock that has been shortened 3/8 inch and it has a higher leverage ratio and needs a stiffer spring.
